Who is responsible for your data

Jericho Consulting operates Qolvivo and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

What Qolvivo processes

When you dictate, the Mac or Windows app streams audio to Qolvivo's secured service for transcription and writing cleanup. The service passes that content to OpenAI as our processing provider. Qolvivo does not put an OpenAI key in either app and does not sell personal information.

Audio and text

Qolvivo streams audio for the active request and keeps a temporary local recording only long enough to recover from a failed realtime request. The file is deleted after the request. Qolvivo does not intentionally retain audio on its service. Finished text is stored in history only when you enable history; history is off by default. Stored history is limited to your account and can be deleted from the app. Diagnostic logs are designed to exclude dictated content.

Account and billing data

Supabase processes account authentication, including email links and connected identity providers. We receive your email, account identifier, and available display name. Stripe processes payment details; Qolvivo stores Stripe customer and subscription references, not full card numbers.

Cloud-synced customization

Portable preferences, vocabulary, and voice snippets are stored with your account so your setup is available on signed-in Mac and Windows computers. Device controls such as shortcuts, microphone selection, overlay position, launch-at-login, diagnostic measurements, and correction-sharing consent stay on each device. Dictation history does not cloud sync by default.

Synced customization is encrypted in transit and protected by our infrastructure's encryption at rest. Because account vocabulary may be used by Qolvivo's transcription service, this feature is not end-to-end encrypted. You can export or delete synced customization from your account.

Learning your vocabulary

Terms you add and corrections you approve are stored with your account so they can sync across your devices. Correction detection is limited to text Qolvivo has just inserted and a short observation window. Qolvivo is not designed as a general keylogger.

Optional improvement data

You may separately opt in to share short correction pairs for product evaluation and improvement. This setting is off by default. A shared sample contains only the short phrase Qolvivo produced and the replacement you entered; it does not include surrounding text or audio. Turning this setting off stops new samples. You can delete previously shared samples from either desktop app.

Retention and deletion

Usage totals and vocabulary remain until you delete them or close your account. Optional text history defaults to 30 days. Security and billing records may be retained when reasonably required for fraud prevention, accounting, or legal obligations.

Your choices

You can keep text history disabled, remove vocabulary items, delete shared correction samples, revoke a connected device, and request account deletion. Contact privacy@saywright.app.

Service providers and transfers

Qolvivo uses infrastructure, AI, identity, error monitoring, and payment providers to deliver the service. Their processing may occur in countries other than yours and is subject to contractual and legal safeguards.
